Privacy

The short version: we do not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts on this site.
What stays in your browser
Some tools remember things so you do not have to type them again: class lists, scores and points, seating charts, agendas, settings and Classroom Boards. These are saved in your browser's local storage on the computer you are using. They are never sent to our server or anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data removes them. You can export your class lists to a file and import them on another computer.
Student names
Because names are only ever stored on your own computer, using a real class list here does not share it with anyone. Names are not placed in page addresses, so they do not end up in browser history sync or server logs either.
Microphone
The Noise Meter asks your browser for permission to use the microphone. Sound is measured on your computer, as a loudness level only. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
Server logs
Like every web server, ours keeps short-lived technical access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for security and to keep the site running. They are not used to identify anyone and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Children
The site is designed to be used by teachers in front of a class. It collects no information from anyone, child or adult.
